Children’s Parliament

As part of their learning process and as well as exposure to the rudiments of governance and leadership – mainly in the area of lawmaking, ACAEDF children’s home has a children’s parliament where the children make laws and policies for themselves to guide their behaviors in the center and also maintain their disciplines.

The aim of this gesture is to prepare the children for future leadership tasks as they remain the future leaders of Nigeria. It is also aimed at improving the children’s public speaking skills through their debates during their plenary.

The parliament holds it plenary once in a week where the children sponsor bills and debate upon it before passage into law.

The parliament is equipped with all necessary feature of a modern conventional parliament.
