TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR OUR CHILDREN
It’s always exciting to have our children make significant steps in their developmental process. Today, six of the children started their Technical College education!!
Technical College combine the conventional subjects like English and mathematics, sciences with practical technical and vocational trainings like Information and Communications Technology (ICT), paint making, furniture making, fashion design and electrical wiring, etc.Skill development and ICT in education is very important.
In today’s age of globalization and technological advancement, skill building is an important instrument to empower children and improve their chances of economic independence. After the secondary education not all our children may further their studies into university. Some may not have the interest and instead choose to depend on their skills.
For us it is very important to give the children the opportunity to explore and have options to choose different professions. And for many years now ( as some of you already know ) we have send our children on skill education boot-camps during school holidays.
It gives not only our children, but also the staff, a chance to know the children’s skills and interests. In general, employment opportunities require vocational skills. School education is therefore not enough to secure the future of our children. In today’s world to many students are unable to get suitable employment due to the lack of employable skills.The boys are very excited because this is a dream come true for all of them
