8 MONTHS IN LAND OF HOPE – the story of Little Michael

We wrote the story of how he was accused of being a witch and taken far away from home by his own father, so he wouldn’t be able to trace his way back home again.😢
Michael was also badly stabbed by his own father. All because he was said to be a witch and responsible for all the illnesses, poverty and hardship in the family.
In that update, we had a photo of him with Hope not being able to smile and he never even understood why and even how to smile. Imagine passing through all these pains and know what it means to smile!
Today, the story is fast changing. Michael now smiles well, talk a lot and interact with other children very well. He has really developed so well academically and can express himself very. Michael will always be the first to get ready for photo-shoots; always jumping and saying, “snap me! snap me!”😂🕺
Michael’s transformation has been aided by the care and affection from our staff most important the love and care shown him by other children who will always want to play with him, have him in their teams during games and study group❤️
